The Dutch Reach - FREE VIDEO

The Dutch Reach Keeping Yourself in Pristine Condition Image

In today's fast-paced world, prioritising your physical well-being and striving to keep yourself in Pristine Condition is more crucial than ever. To assist you in achieving these goals, we are thrilled to announce the latest in our collection of free, concise videos in 2023.

These short productions will cover key health & safety scenarios and are available to clients and contacts to share with colleagues to ensure you leave work the same way you arrived; safe!

The fourth in our series covers one of the key changes to the Highway Code in 2022; The Dutch Reach.

The "Dutch reach" was introduced to the Highway Code in the UK after years of campaigning. The practice is used widely across Europe and encourages people to open vehicle doors with their opposite hand to avoid injuries to passing cyclists.

At Pristine Condition, we wholeheartedly support any practice aimed at preserving lives and preventing injuries. However, we also recognise the importance of considering the impact on the driver and their movements in implementing this measure.

Watch as Pristine Condition Founder and CEO, Davy Snowdon MBE, unpacks the anatomical implications of this movement and how you can do your bit as a driver of a vehicle, whilst ensuring you remain in Pristine Condition!

If you are new to Pristine Condition and would like to discuss any of the points covered in this video, or would like to have a wider conversation about your businesses health & safety requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us here.
