One such company is Board24, a leading UK manufacturer of corrugated sheet board and cases, who recently invited us back to their Coalville site for a two-day manual handling training programme.
On the 17th and 18th of August 2021, 25 casemaker operatives at Board24 took part in hands-on manual handling training designed specifically for the physical demands of their role.
Manual handling is a major part of everyday duties for case operatives—making effective, real-world training not just helpful, but essential. That’s why Board24 once again partnered with Pristine Condition to ensure their team received the most practical, science-backed instruction available.
What sets our training apart? Unlike generic classroom-based courses, the Pristine Method is rooted in Olympic Weightlifting biomechanics—applied to industrial environments.
Our founder and CEO, Davy Snowdon MBE, is a former Olympic conditioning coach and Guinness World Record holder in weightlifting. His unique insight into anatomical efficiency underpins every principle we teach, helping workers understand how to move smarter, not harder.
During the Coalville sessions, we demonstrated how small adjustments—like foot positioning or arm placement—can significantly reduce strain on the body and eliminate risky movement patterns, such as twisting under load.
Feedback from the case operatives was overwhelmingly positive. Every participant walked away with clear, actionable knowledge on how to set themselves up for safe lifting—and more importantly, why those adjustments matter.
When people understand the science behind the movement, behaviour change follows. That’s what makes our approach so effective—not just in the moment, but long after the session ends.
Thanks to Board24 for continuing to invest in the safety and wellbeing of their team. We look forward to supporting more sites across the group as we help make manual handling injuries a thing of the past.
