But who are the people behind the Pristine branded gear?
Today, we take some time to get to know Training Executive, Craig Johnson.
What did you do before joining Pristine?
Previously to working for PC I was a Royal Marine for 4-years, completing two back-to-back tours of Afghanistan. I then joined the Police and served in a number of different roles from uniform to non uniform for just shy of 13 years.
What made you want to join Pristine?
I wanted to join PC as my colleague, Liam, had spoken so highly of Pristine. All of the trainers are ex-military and it was that camaraderie that I had missed and yearned for since leaving the Marines.
Also, Pristine are a world-renowned training company that allows for ongoing and professional development with the opportunity to travel globally. I’m definitely also a people person and really enjoy public speaking and engaging with people from all walks of life.
What’s the best experience you’ve had working at Pristine?
My best experience was probably working at Sotheby’s Auction House, Central London. Having walked in the footsteps of Del and Rodney from Only Fools and Horses having the opportunity to show some of the technicians how to handles million pound artworks correctly was pretty surreal.
What’s the most amazing result your training has achieved for a client?
Receiving positive feedback from one of our clients when I was still being tutored by fellow trainer, Aidan, when I had only just joined Pristine Condition.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you…
When I left the Royal Marines I wanted to be a fire fighter..not a Police Officer.
How would you describe the culture at Pristine?
The camaraderie is great and help and advice from more experienced Trainer’s is only a phone call away.
