As part of a comprehensive review of their safety culture, Egis partnered with Pristine Condition International to implement our CultureSHIFT programme. Since then, Egis has achieved an incredible milestone: a zero accident frequency rate and 12 consecutive months without a single slip, trip, or fall incident!.
Since January 2021, the M40 motorway which links London, Oxford, and Birmingham in England, had reported five significant accidents resulting in reportable injuries:
80% were caused by slips, trips, and falls.
In 2023 alone, three incidents led to injuries requiring over seven days off work.
This highlighted a clear need for targeted intervention to address these recurring safety challenges.
The introduction of our CultureSHIFT behavioural change programme marked a turning point. With tailored video training and a focus on reshaping workplace attitudes toward safety, the client saw immediate improvements.
The result? A dramatic reduction in accident frequency and the elimination of slip, trip, and fall incidents entirely.
