Brakes Group
I initially engaged Pristine Condition to provide a bespoke manual handling training package that would not only capture the imagination of our workforce but, would also allow us to capture the staff on our unique shift patterns.
In November 2008 they set about developing their POPS programme aimed at our trainers. They shot a bespoke DVD for both warehouse and drivers at our Bristol depot and provided us with supporting information. They also implemented their TRACA tool which not only monitors the training but also promotes behavioural change.
Since the training was delivered in January 2009, Bristol has gone a full 12 months without any manual handling injuries.
On the back of this success the programme has now rolled out across our South West Region, Ireland and is about to launch in Scotland and the North, Leeds and Thorpe. We continue to see a significant contribution to the business from this programme. The levels of feedback and buy in are impressive, but not as impressive as the results.
